If you thought it was going to be a quiet end to the transfer window for Arsenal fans then I suggest you think again.
Following the recent loan departure of Nicolas Pepe, the club are now strongly linked with signing a new forward to compete with Bukayo Saka.
And the latest reports from Ben Jacobs at CBS Sport has suggested that the Gunners are very much in for 21-year-old forward, Mykhaylo Mudryk.
Although a deal is very possible, Arsenal and Shakhtar started almost £10m apart in valuation. Shakhtar ideally want £25m.

Having updated fans via Twitter on Tuesday afternoon, Jacobs stated that Arsenal are £10m apart from Shakhtar Donetsk’s valuation of their number 10.
With Shakhtar looking for around £25m for a player who is under contract until 2026, it certainly provides an attractive option for Arteta.
There would certainly be the finances available to secure Mudryk’s signature and it would add to Arteta’s growing crop of exciting young players.
Not only that, but it gives Saka a genuine competition for minutes after it became very clear that Marquinhos wouldn’t be ready and Reiss Nelson isn’t favoured.
This is certainly a deal to keep an eye on as we enter the final hours of the transfer window before it closes on the evening of September 1st.
