Saka out, Partey starts: Arsenal’s likely line up to face Burnley on Saturday

Arsenal travel to Burnley in the early kick off on Saturday afternoon and they are hoping to secure back to back Premier League wins after an impressive outing at the King Power last week.

The Gunners have plenty of games to come though, with two legs against Olympiacos, Spurs sandwiched in between and then West Ham and Liverpool following closely.

With that in mind, Mikel Arteta has some big decisions to make for his lineup against Burnley. The squad should be fresh after 6 days off, but with lots of games to come, the line up selection will be interesting.

Goalkeeper: Bernd Leno

Defence: Kieran Tierney, Pablo Mari, David Luiz, Cedric Soares
Mari has been in great form lately and his aerial ability will be beneficial in countering what Burnley can throw at the Gunners. Cedric has done enough to start ahead of Bellerin.

Midfield: Granit Xhaka, Thomas Partey; Willian, Martin Odegaard, Nico Pepe
Partey should be fresh and ready to come back into the line up after being gradually reintroduced to the team following injury. He came through with 30 minutes six days ago versus Leicester and should now be ready to start. Willian and Pepe’s performances against Leicester could present Arteta with the option to again rest Bukayo Saka. With Emile Smith Rowe injured, Odegaard is certain to start at number 10.

Striker: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Aubameyang had a breather against Leicester and has been in red hot form lately. He should be fresh to come back into the line-up and back into that central role.
