Two defeats in Arsene Wenger’s three opening Premier League games of the season has left the club in tatters going in to the international break despite the warning signs being there.

It’s no surprise that once again the boss has led us into a campaign unprepared, but this year things have escalated to a new low after failing to clear any of our deadwood players.

Lucas Perez, Kieran Gibbs, Mathieu Debuchy and Joel Campbell have all been told they can move on this summer but have failed to take any initiative to force a deal through.

As it hits 1pm, we’ve got three of the biggest stories of the morning that you may have missed, including all of the details on where some of our biggest players may end up by Thursday.

1 – Kieran Gibbs Deal Is OFF

Watford have pulled out of the move to sign Gibbs despite reaching an agreement of £7million with the Gunners that would see him become one of their final signings of the summer.

The ability to stay in London and work with a side that is looking to cement their position in the Premier League this season provided Gibbs with a number of reasons to join.

However, any chance of Gibbs playing in a yellow shirt this season has completely ended after he failed to negotiate a compromise over his personal terms and large wage demands.

Gibbs seems reluctant to make the step down from Arsenal but without the playing time over the summer it’s difficult to see any sort of way back for the English international.
