Plenty of big names in the likes of Jack Wilshere, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Kieran Gibbs were missing from England’s team to head into their World Cup qualifiers.
However, in a surprise call-up, one Arsenal youngster is waving the flag for the Gunners alongside Theo Walcott, who played 19 minutes as England beat Slovakia 1-0 last night.
Tafari Moore has been called up to train with the senior squad after Allardyce saw potential in the 19-year-old, who is currently on loan with FC Utrecht.

Moore has been playing as a left full-back all his life and acted as cover for Luke Shaw, who has been taken away from national duty as a precaution.
It’s great news for Arsenal’s young contingent, who are all looking to progress with their countries after seeing the success that Alex Iwobi has enjoyed in the last year.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles scored a fantastic goal for England’s Under-20’s yesterday afternoon as they played in a behind-closed-doors friendly with Brazil.
Also enjoying success on the English international scene is the trio of Chuba Akpom, Calum Chambers and Rob Holding who have been included in Gareth Southgate’s U21 squad.
