6 Players Arsenal Should Sell This Summer

We’ve been wondering throughout the season just where we’ll be seeing the Frenchman playing football next year, but after talking to Arsenal.com this week it seems we now know.

Concerns were raised over the 31-year-old, who has failed to start a match since early February, and it would seem is a long way off featuring in the FA Cup final this weekend.

Do we need him?

With the emergence of Francis Coquelin it would seem Flamini has become a distant memory in the centre defensive midfield role.

The boss now has the squad depth to rely on names such as Callum Chambers and Mikel Arteta, who will both be in contention next season and fighting for a place.

However, even if Flamini isn’t featuring every week, having the presence of an experienced player like himself is something we can’t put a price on.

He’s a player who loves the club and knows what it means to wear the badge, and simply having him around the dressing room can inspire so many of the youngsters.

How much could we get for him?

Flamini still has one year left on his contract, but if Wenger is keen to cut down the wage bill to make room for reinforcements we could expect to get £5million for his services.

A loan option is certainly out of the question, but his determination to see out his contract could mean we see him go for free next season.

Wenger needs to make a decision on the veteran midfielder, but I feel like the boss is too soft at heart to let the loyalist go.
