3. Retaining position in the top 4
This is the minimum expectation of every season. However though, our champions League spot looked in jeopardy after the damaging 3-0 defeat to Everton. Their destiny was in their own hands, but thankfully they lost quite a few games in the run-in and we managed to pick up maximum points from the last five games. At one point it seemed as though we may have had a chance of the title, but damaging defeats and the loss of players like Ramsey and Walcott left our top 4 chances looking slim, however we came back well with a little help from Everton and managed to comfortably qualify for the 17th year in a row.
