3 Arsenal Outgoings You Might Have Missed During The Transfer Window

2 – Dan Crowley to Oxford United

A player that I really hope can perform to the best of his ability because one more loan spell could be enough to have him ready for the first team.

In my personal opinion Crowley is one of two players in that current Arsenal academy that I can genuinely see featuring for the first team one day, but we must be careful.

He’s young, he’s English and he carries an uncanny resembelance to Jack Wilshere but if we put too much pressure on the 18-year-old then it would be Wilshere 2.0…

Joining the League One side is perfect for him, he’s not good enough to be a starter but that’s a good thing because he’ll finally have a bit of competition for a place.

Arsene Wenger has spoken about Crowley a lot, and earlier this summer admitted he was still missing the physical ability to link up with the senior squad.

If he can find that, and perform consistently through the season then he’ll book his spot on the pre-season tour with the Gunners and that’s when his real chance comes.
