Home Form
The Gunners have made the Emirates a fortress this season, having lost only once at home in league all season, and it’s these consistent and dominant home displays which have helped Arsenal climb high and higher up the table, after a torrid part 1 of the campaign.
The other two losses at home which proved fatal were the defeats to Southampton in the league cup, and Monaco in the Champions League. Despite that, Arsene Wenger’s team have showed great character by winning all of their last 9 league games at the Emirates, since the 2-1 defeat to Manchester United.
They’ve also managed to score 27 goals and keep 5 clean sheets in those matches, which isn’t a bad statistic at all. In all honesty, Arsenal’s home form itself shouldn’t be a surprise, because it’s the one thing the team should be able to boast throughout any league season, to try and sustain a title charge.
Hopefully, with the key matches yet to be played in the remaining fixture list, the North Londoners can retain their blistering form, which sees them now sit 2nd in the league and at least keep them there until May.
