3 Reasons Why Arsenal Don’t Need A Striker

4. Goals from midfield

There’s also the goals from midfield: also known as Aaron Ramsey. He was our leading goal scorer last season, involved in most goals in consecutive games until he got injured and all but killed our season… Before restoring everything back to order in wonderful Ramsey fashion. He’s still, amazingly, young with years and years ahead of him. He’s only going to get better, and that’s frightening. Either he’ll have a quieter season in comparison this year, or he’ll create an even bigger storm. He’s chief of the goals from midfield now, with Cazorla, Ozil, Wilshere, (Chamberlain?) helping whenever he decides to take a break—which is never. If Wenger takes good care of the squad, Arsenal have a lot of options all across the board, with goal threats from all positions. Just need to get the team ticking at the same time, with all the legs working. It’d be nice to see Walcott last an entire season, because he’s essential to this Arsenal team, and besides Podolski, our best finisher.

That turned out to be four reasons instead of three, but that goes to show that maybe Arsenal aren’t desperate for another striker, after all. There’s options everywhere providing everyone can stay fit, and with the emerging talent, Arsene has younger and more experimental options if he chooses to use them. A striker would be nice; but get a keeper and a solid defensive midfielder and the team looks complete.
