2. Emerging young talents
Search deeper within the squad and there’s the (dubiously?) emerging talents in Sanogo and Chuba Akpom, and it’s oddly the former who shows the least composure, although, boosts a higher number of senior games. Akpom’s always looked bright for me on the rare chance I’ve seen him play; he’s fast and skilful, in contrast to Sanogo’s strength and presence. One of these should go out on loan, and given Arsene seems to favour Sanogo, then maybe it’s Akpom who gets game time elsewhere, but a good pre-season could change that. Although, I feel Akpom deserves more game time, and this could be somewhat of a breakthrough season for him, if given the chance.
