3. Olivier Giroud
Then there’s the big man himself, who as previously stated, struggled towards the end of the season, but that could easily be blamed on injuries and fatigue, rather than lack of effort and quality. He has a bad record in the big games, but then assists the winning goal in the FA cup final, which is the clearest indication as to what Giroud is all about and what he brings to this Arsenal team. He’s a team player. Plain and simple. And a very good one at that. If Arsenal go injury free on the flanks, Giroud might just be all we need. Big IF though. He scores and assists, and for a man that does it all on his own, without a seasoned back up, he has decent return; but he needs to improve in the big games.
