 3. John Stones

The Everton defender will be keen to get back out on the pitch following his rest in midweek after he was ineligible to play due to suspension.

At just 20 years old, Stones is becoming a key part of their defence, and has formed a nice understanding with veteran, Phil Jagielka. The England international poses great strength and isn’t afraid to use it in the air, which will be a key battle between him and Olivier Giroud.

Playing centrally, this defender likes to dictate play from the back and resembles characteristics od David Luiz, who carries the ball up the park and isn’t afraid to get at opposition defenders.

In terms of aerial ability, the Englishman has a keen eye for corners, which will force Arsenal to try something different each time.

Stones’ weakness will be through his positioning, as he usually leaves a hole in the defence when stepping up, and is almost too keen to play the high line. He isn’t going to get a chance to do this against an attacking Arsenal side, with the likes of Alexis and Walcott to get in around the back, he can’t afford to make any mistakes.
