3 Most Dangerous Everton Players vs. Arsenal

2. Kevin Mirallas

It’s not just the national team Mirallas shares with Lukaku, it’s also the massive threat he poses against us on Sunday.

With nine goals in all competitions the Belgian is breathing down the neck of Lukaku, and can quite literally spring up with a goal at any time.

Now even though he’s had a bit of a dip in form recently, Mirallas is someone who will love to get down our right hand side, which has looked remarkably vulnerable in recent games. Hector Bellerin can handle the pace that Mirallas carries but the young Spaniard can often find himself getting dragged in to the central role, which leaves too much space for the Everton man.

Likewise, Callum Chambers will struggle to cope with the speed of Mirallas, but will be a better option for maintaining the right-back position.

The 27-year-old is currently enjoying the peak of his career, and his ability to cut inside and have a go at goal will be hard to deal with in the pace of Mertesacker, who has shown he fails to put his body on the line to protect our goal.

Mirallas also stops us from playing a high line, with any ball easily being floated through, he is more than likely to latch onto it. We can’t afford to let that happen against a side who will play on the break, so sitting back and letting him come to us will be a better option.
