3. Future For Martìnez?

With Wojciech Szczesny & David Ospina both injured, Arsenal’s young Argentine keeper, Emiliano Martìnez has stepped up to the plate in the past two games. The 22 year old has kept clean sheets against Borussia Dortmund & West Brom, whilst performing more confidently than in previous seasons. Wenger has employed huge faith in Martìnez, and I wonder if he has any sort of future at the club? However, he has only started two games so far, although the signs are there (two clean sheets & confidence) that he could be an Arsenal regular. Although, it cannot be forgotten that in previous years he has made some horrendous mistakes that were simply embarrassing. It’s in Wenger’s hands to decide what he does with Argentine stopper, but I’d keep him at this current time of writing. He is essentially the third choice keeper, and its hard to find quality keepers that would sit and be happily third choice.
