2 – Kostas Manolas
Arsenal’s long term transfer target, is this the window where Manolas finally joins Arsenal? It did look like the Greek defender would join Zenit earlier in the window, but that move has fallen through and it does seem that Roma are willing to sell him. Aged 26, Manolas would arrive in his prime and add some extra steel to the Arsenal back line, something they have certainly been looking to add with recent purchases (see Xhaka and Kolasinac). The talented defender has however recently said he will definitely stay at Roma after his move to Zenit broke down.
