3 – Lucas Moura
Another PSG man and outcast in the current situation, Lucas Moura is very likely to leave the club before the end of the month. Arsenal have been linked in the past, but not strongly. But this stinks of the type of deal that Wenger may opt for to appease the fans, especially if players like Oxlade-Chamberlain or Walcott are sold in the closing weeks of the window. The 25-year-old was very highly rated when he first moved to Paris, and whilst he hasn’t been a failure in the city, he has failed to flourish into the player that many anticipated he would. The Brazilian needs a new lease of life, but would he be able to force his way into the starting eleven at Arsenal? Debatable with the likes of Giroud, Lacazette, Walcott, Alexis, Ozil and Iwobi to compete with for a spot in the front three. If someone like Walcott was to leave, I’d say Moura would be a good replacement, but he is unlikely to get the regular football he wants at The Emirates.
