3. Daniel Crowley
At just 17 years of age, Crowley has already amassed a glowing reputation since arriving from Aston Villa. He’s featured for England and youth level and Jack Wilshere previously heralded him as the most impressive young player currently on the club’s books. In short, Crowley is arguably the most exciting prospect to come out of the Arsenal youth squad in years.
His age is a concern but he wouldn’t be the first player to feature at such a young age, with Gedion Zelalem worth a mention to back up this point. If Crowley is truly as good as we all think he is, then he is definitely ready for a first-team call up. It’s too early for sure to be thrusted into the Premier League or Champions League picture but against Southampton, he has a perfect chance.
I sincerely hope we get to see Daniel Crowley next Tuesday in what would be a huge moment for the player and the club. He’s one for the future and there’s no time like the present. Watch this space, this kid is truly something special.
