Arsenal Players React On Twitter To Welbeck’s Winner vs. Leicester City

The Arsenal players and fans were overjoyed when Danny Welbeck’s last minute winner hit the back of the net on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal fell behind after Jamie Vardy converted a controversial penalty. Danny Simpson was then red carded early in the second half and the Gunners dominated. Second half substitutes, Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck got the all-important goals to give Arsenal a much-needed three points. This result means they sit joint second in the table and are now just two points behind the leaders, Leicester City. If the result remained at 1-0 Arsenal would have ended the day 8 points adrift, with their title hopes surely over.

But they won, and as the fans will continue to celebrate, the players have aired their reaction on Twitter. Here are some of the best responses.
