Tomáš Rosický edged closer to 100 caps for Czech Republic last night with his 93rd game for his country. He capped that with a 13th goal – the 32 year-old’s deflected goal was not enough to stop his country losing 2-1 to Armenia:

Elsewhere on International duty: Jack Wilshere completed 59 minutes for England whilst Theo Walcott played the full 90 minutes for England in their 4-0 win over Moldova. Per Mertesacker and new signing Mesut Özil completed 90 minutes for Germany who ran out 3-0 winners over Austria. Bacary Sagna, Olivier Giroud and Laurent Koscielny also played a full 90 minutes in Georgia as they played out a 0-0 draw.
Szczesny was an unused substitute for Poland.
