Tottenham 2-2 Arsenal: 5 Big Positives The Gunners Can Take From The Draw

5 – Alexis Back Amongst The Goals

It was long overdue but our Chilean saviour has finally bagged himself a goal, something he hasn’t done in the Premier League since October.

The winger had it all to do this afternoon, with the red card meaning he had to switch from either flank to acomodate the inconsistent counter attacks.

But for him personally, you could see it was a massive moment because he hasn’t looked up to scratch since returning from injury back in January.

He’ll surely be handed a rest on Tuesday night, and with an equalising goal to snatch a point in his mind, there is confidence back in Alexis, something even he admitted was missing.

What he must now do is continue this fine form, because we were able to see signs of the old Sanchez, running at defenders and picking out some fine passes in the final third.

You could see he stepped up today along with a host of other players, so there needs to be a consistency if we’re able to hold down a legitimate title chase.
