It’s so wonderful and fitting that the player to win the cup, end the drought, make history, is Arsenal’s player of the season. He’s our Welsh Wonder. He’s our Aaron Ramsey. He’s taken the league and Europe by storm this season. Without his injury, he was on course for player of the year, and Arsenal for the league title. Arsenal may have finally found a talisman they can look to, someone who’ll turn up every game and take it by the scruff of its neck in glorious fashion. With a bit of Fabregas, and bit of Lampard, Ramsey will be one the very best. He was always the most hardworking Arsenal player, and after coming back from a serious injury, and even abuse from his own fans, he’s starting become the player Wenger knew he would be; scoring all sorts of wonder goals, the FA cup final being the best of them all. He even continued his brilliance in his return from injury, he showed that we weren’t simply seeing a good run of from; this really is the player we have on our hands. He is that good. Really, it’s only going to be Ramsey who’ll take Arsenal’s player of the year, and how rightly deserved.
