He’s barely played all season, yet every time he’s pulled on that shirt, he’s been terrific and something of a cup hero. He kept us in the game against Liverpool producing another excellent display, an act he further improved upon in the semi final, with a roaring performance, saving two penalties to send Arsenal through to their first FA cup final in 9 years. It’s a shame he’s leaving. He’s a much improved keeper. He has the maturity that his young counterpart lacks. Whichever team acquires his services next season has fine keeper on their hands.
