1) Alexis Sanchez
What a man, what a player. Arsenal’s heroic saviour this month has been spectacular, firing on all fronts and scoring 4 goals in the hectic time-period. His pace, power and finishing abilities have shone, and his well placed shot versus Galatasaray kick-started the month, but was not nearly as beautiful as the high-five he shared with provider Mesut Ozil. Two of Arsenal’s most expensive signings combined, but with Ozil’s injury Alexis has often been the star-man. Often seen as the man we all look to, his step-over and demolition of Curtis Davies sent the Hull man into a world of confusion before firing a thunderous strike into the corner. His mazy run to set-up second place Danny Welbeck was quite something, and this form didn’t stop for Arsenal’s away trip to Sunderland. He is considered the player who never stops running for Arsenal, and the little Chilean sure seems the most passionate player on the pitch. Taking full advantage of Sunderland’s defensive errors, he picked up two more classy goals to officially receive Arsenal.com’s Player of the Month award with an astonishing 90.1% of the votes. It’s only fair he gets our vote as the Chilean looks set to become an Arsenal legend at this rate.
