3) Kieran Gibbs
Defender number three for the list, this Englishman has performed valiantly in Arsenal’s bid to find their form, scoring one goal along the way too. Gibbs, who is often criticized for his offensive abilities, has certainly stepped up this month in both areas of his game. Defending of the highest level has seen Gibbs outshine the majority of other Premier League left-backs whilst the Arsenal man has been working hard to develop his game. Specifically against Hull and Anderlecht, Gibbs has proved to be a real threat down the left-hand side, and has been Arsenal’s most consistent player for some time now, well at least one of them. The highlight of his month must surely have come however when he netted a sublime first time volley into the far corner versus Anderlecht in the Champions League group game that saw Arsenal run out eventual 2-1 winners.
