Top 5 Arsenal Kits In The Premier League Era – Do You Agree?

“For 20 years English football has never looked so good” was the slogan Nike came up with this week to commemorate the ending of their kit partnership with Arsenal. Next season marks the start of a new chapter for the Gunners, with Puma replacing Nike as chief kit suppliers. This is the biggest kit deal in football history to date, worth £30million annually over a five-year period. This will also be the 3rd different company to design the Arsenal kits in the Premiership era, with Adidas sponsoring the Gunners in the first couple of seasons of its existence. It may not be western bulldogs jerseys but fans will still love them.

Here I will be giving my view on the five best kits in Arsenal’s Premier League history.

5. Home Kit 05/06:

Arsenal-home

This redcurrant strip was the last to be worn at Highbury, and fittingly saw us through to the Champions league final. It was the first time Arsenal hadn’t wore red at home in over 90 years and was a popular hit with arsenal fans, symbolising the evolution in the club from our first year at Highbury to our last.
