Danny Welbeck’s late strike rescued a point after another dismal day at the Emirates. Arsenal produced the sort of performance their fans are becoming used to seeing in what is fast becoming a season to forget.
Here are three things we learnt from the draw with Hull:
1) Arsenal need urgency from the off
In the closing minutes when the Gunners were trailing they looked positive, energetic and threatening. Up to that point, on the whole, they looked ponderous and lacked ideas.
Too many times this season this has been the case. Arsenal dominate position but are so slow in using it they create very little.
Wenger has to do something to get his players fired up and wanting to win from the start. A high work rate and desire is needed from the Arsenal players if they are going to turn their season around.
