The pressure is now on Manchester City, who are yet to play the next fixture tomorrow evening after dropping down to 4th, thanks to Arsenal’s emphatic victory taking them 2 points clear in 2nd and United into 3rd, after sweeping Aston Villa aside at Old Trafford.
City have seemingly surrendered their title to league leaders Chelsea, who have a promising cushion at the top by 7 points. But now they also have to deal with their top 4 rivals, who have truly hit top form as of late and are both ahead of them for now.
The sky blues, who were tipped to finish in the top 2 this season have finally been caught. It goes without saying, they have to aim to win every of their remaining games to finish as high as possible.
