2. Toni Kroos
The German midfielder has attracted a lot of attention after rejecting Bayern’s new contract offer as his current one ends in 2015. Kroos is currently earning £3.2 million a season and wants his salaray to be doubled. Bayern are basically in the same situation we were with Nasri and Van Persie. For once Arsenal could reap the rewards of a club in tough position with their star player. Toni Kroos has proven time and time again that he is one of the most gifted central midfielders in the world. There is so much more he can offer at the age of 24 and Arsene Wenger should be looking to swoop in for another world class German for the fourth season in a row, following Mertesacker, Podolski and of course Özil. After rejecting the opportunity to re-sign Fabregas, no Arsenal fan would dwell on the Spaniard with Kroos in the team. But Kroos could cause the same problem if signed. His preferred position is in central midfield, which is perfectly played by Aaron Ramsey and also Jack Wilshere. Though, he does have more experience in the defensive midfield role than Fabregas ever did, playing 9 games in the position this season for Bayern Munich. It’s as simple as if you have the chance to sign Toni Kroos, you sign Toni Kroos. Brilliantly creative, intelligent and would fit well into the Arsenal system. Since he has one year left, Wenger could possibly sign him for £25-30 million, which is a bargain for a player of his quality.
