Flamini to Turkey was put on hold after it seemed Felipe Melo would stay at Galatasaray but now the Brazilian has joined Inter Milan. Arsenal are hoping to shift the French midfielder to free up funds for a new midfielder. As it stands, with Mikel Arteta signing a new deal Arsenal cannot really afford to sign another midfielder if they do not manage to sell / release Flamini. The interest from Gala is real, as they held talks with Arsenal a few weeks ago. Flamini is very much disposable for Arsenal right now, but if no new signing arrives, you’d expect him to stick around. Coquelin and an injury prone Arteta are not enough to last the whole season in defensive midfield.
