Every fortnight we will present you with an alternative league table. This week, we take a look at what the table would look like, if draws were the most rewarded result.
Yes we know this means nothing, but it is a little bit interesting. If Arsenal could have found the winner in their four draws this season, they’d be very close to the top of the table. Chelsea have done just that, they sit bottom of the draws table but top of the real league table. Avoiding draws and going for the win was something Sir Alex Ferguson’s teams often did. His teams rarely shared the spoils, after all 3 points is a lot better than one.
Judging by Arsenal’s performance in this table, perhaps draws should be rewarded with 2 points.
