Legendary Brazilian midfielder Ronaldinho has selected Arsenal legend Thierry Henry for his Champions League dream-team, alongside Lionel Messi and the original Ronaldo.
Ronaldinho chose his side for the Daily Mail and included a host of European greats, including Gianluigi Buffon and Paolo Maldini, amongst Brazilian stars like Cafu, Roberto Carlos and Kaka.
However, the stand-out selection from an Arsenal supporters standing-point is Thierry Henry in attack- ahead of a host of great strikers Ronaldinho has played alongside.
The duo played together briefly at Barcelona, where Henry clinched the only Champions League title of his career in 2009. Speaking about Henry, Ronaldinho said:
‘My good friend who I played with at Barcelona, and there was even a chance that we nearly played together again in New York. Just a nightmare for defenders, was quick, had skill, and was strong.’
Also selected in the side were Chelsea captain John Terry and former Blues midfielder’s Frank Lampard and Claude Makelele.
