According to an update from the reliable AFC Fixture News, the Gunners will launch their new third kit on Friday 29th July, with us not having to wait long until seeing it in action.

Arsenal will don their new pink strip as they welcome La Liga side, Sevilla, to the Emirates Stadium as we see a return of the Emirates Cup, which will take up a slightly different format for 2022.

Previously Arsenal would welcome three teams and take part in a mini tournament over the weekend, but it appears the club have put more focus on their US tour this season.

The Emirates Stadium is a sell-out for the weekend as everyone tries to get an early glimpse of Mikel Arteta’s five new signings, including fan favourite, Gabriel Jesus.

In what is the only pre-season game held in this country, it will be the final indication on how Arteta plans to line up when he visits Selhurst Park on Friday August 5th.

Arsenal once again kick off the season under the lights on a Friday night, so will be hoping for a better result than last year when they were defeated 2-0 to new boys, Brentford.
