Reports: Arsenal move closer to agreeing £8m and £30m deals

Arsenal are set to step up their transfer window efforts in the coming weeks, with the new season now less than a month away.

The Gunners have already made two big money signings in the shape of Gabriel Jesus and Fabio Vieira, whilst Marquinhos has also joined from Sao Paulo.

The club have plenty of work left to do though, with more reinforcements needed all across the pitch, whilst up to eight senior players could leave.

There appears to have been some movement on one player coming in and one going out, with reports emerging on Wednesday that a couple of deals were moving closer.

The first from Mark Irwin, normally a reliable source for Arsenal news. He is reporting that the club are set to launch a £30million offer for Leicester and Belgium midfielder Youri Tielemans. Arsenal have been consistently linked with Tielemans all summer and now the club appear ready to accelerate their move for him.

Would Tielemans improve Arsenal? Watch our video below that analyses his strengths, weaknesses and how he could fit into the Arsenal side.

Elsewhere the club are hoping to recoup some funds to help fuel further signings. One sale is likely to come in the shape of Bernd Leno. Leno has just one year remaining on his Arsenal contract and with the arrival of Matt Turner, he is expected to leave the club this summer.

Leno is valued at £8million on transfermarkt and according to West London Sport, Arsenal are close to agreeing a deal with Premier League newcomers, Fulham. Whilst there is no fee mentioned in that article, the club would hope to recoup a fee around his valuation.
