Arsenal stayed in the title race and secured an at worst, 2nd place finish with an impressive 2-0 win over Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners were fantastic all game, controlling key aspects of the game and they probably should’ve scored more goals. Martin Odegaard broke the deadlock though with a fantastic long range finish in the first half.
Martinelli’s cross was deflected into the goal to double the lead late in the second half, as Arsenal took the voice out of the frustrated Newcastle fans. All you could hear in the second half was the Arsenal fans singing their hearts out.
