Player Ratings: Leicester 1-3 Arsenal

Arsenal were back to winning ways in the Premier League on Sunday as Mikel Arteta’s men defeated Leicester 3-1.

Arsenal fell behind again to an early goal and things did not look good for a heavily rotated Arsenal. The Gunners responded well though and were 2-1 ahead at halftime following an excellent David Luiz header and some good attacking work saw a penalty awarded, with Alexandre Lacazette converting.

Soon after the break Arsenal countered Leicester well with another slick move finished off by Nicolas Pepe.

Pepe is currently topping the fans ratings – do you agree? We agree that Pepe had one of his best games in an Arsenal shirt at Leicester. So did Willian. Many feared for Arsenal’s wide areas when they saw no Bukayo Saka and Aubameyang, but Pepe and Willian both really made their cases to start more frequently, they now both need to show some consistency. It feels harsh after such a good performance but as always we have to have our flop of the match. For this game we’ve harshly gone for Mohammed Elneny. He didn’t do anything amazing and was partly at fault for the Leicester goal.
