Arsenal bounced back with a hugely unexpected result on Wednesday night as they beat Chelsea to move back into 5th place in the Premier League, and just behind Tottenham on goal difference.
It was an end to end first half where Arsenal took the lead twice, but gave up the lead on both occasions, conceding two soft goals.
The Gunners didn’t let that dampen their spirits though and in the second half, Arsenal took control, restricting Chelsea to next to nothing in attack. Arsenal took their chances in the second half, a great predatory finish by Eddie Nketiah and then Bukayo Saka’s penalty in added time made the result final.

Man of the match: Eddie Nketiah. What a huge performance from Eddie and for the rest of the season for the Gunners. Arsenal needed to start scoring more and finding a solution that saw them flow in the attacking third and they may have found one.
Flop of the match: Ben White and Aaron Ramsdale. Both have been great this season and praised as top signings, but today they were both really poor. We will need to be tighter in defence to have any top four chances.
