Player ratings: Bodo/Glimt 0-1 Arsenal

Fresh Arsenal newsletter

Arsenal made it three out of three in the Europa League group stages with a hard-fought away win on Thursday night.

It was a really tricky surface that the Arsenal players clearly struggled on. The ball was often just escaping the Arsenal players after a first touch or through ball.

The scrappiness of the game was summed up in Bukayo Saka’s goal. His initial shot deflecting off of a Bodo/Glimt player’s chest before finding the corner.

Arsenal struggled to do anything of note in the second half but crucially picked up the three points ahead of key games against PSV as they aim to top the group.
