[Our Rating / Average fan rating from ‘Player Rater’]

Wojciech Szczesny – 7.0 / 7.2
Was rarely tested, but when he was he handled the ball with confidence and looked extremely experienced.

Bacary Sagna – 7.5 / 7.3
Incredible in the air once again, it would be a real shame to see Sagna leave – but it looks like it is heading that way.

Laurent Koscielny – 8.0 / 8.5
Proved himself as one of the best defenders in Europe, once again. No idea why he was omitted from the PFA Team of the Year.

Per Mertesacker – 7.0 / 7.2
Quieter game than usual from Per, probably because he was not tested. Didn’t put a foot wrong.

Nacho Monreal – 7.0 / 7.0
Looked much more defensively solid than he has in recent weeks and also looked an attacking threat from the left.

Mikel Arteta – 7.0 / 6.9
Neat and tidy but not overly influentual. The same old story for Mikel Arteta who may well be replaced come September.

Aaron Ramsey – 7.5 / 8.2
Energetic as usual, but lacked the cutting edge he has shown in previous games. Still a quality performance.

Santi Cazorla – 7.5 / 8.0
Neat and tidy in possession as always, should have done better with a volley, but assisted the first with a great free kick.

Mesut Ozil –  9.0 / 9.3
Showed his class today as he scored and assisted, but also pulled off some great passes and brilliant skill. Level above.

Lukas Podolski – 6.5 / 6.8
Contributed to play well but looked less dangerous from the left than he has in recent weeks, one of his ‘quiet’ displays.

Olivier Giroud – 7.0 / 7.3
Not the best game but not the worst from Giroud. Scored a well taken header but could have had more. Made some good runs.

Mathieu Flamini – N/A
Tomas Rosicky – N/A
Yaya Sanogo – N/A
