Player ratings: Arsenal 5-0 Nottingham Forest

Fresh Arsenal newsletter

Arsenal remained at the top of the Premier League after a convincing 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners were magnificent in the second half and a brace from Reiss Nelson as well as goals from Martin Odegaard and Thomas Partey added to Martinelli’s opener to give the team a morale-boosting victory.

Man of the match: Reiss Nelson. Many raised eyebrows when Reiss was the one to get the nod when Saka had to come off injured, but he really took his chance. With two goals in three second-half minutes and an overall top-quality performance, it was a day to hopefully kick-start Nelson’s career at Arsenal.
