With less than two weeks until the new season, Arsenal faced Chelsea in the Florida Cup very early on Sunday morning. The Gunners were excellent, winning 4-0 on the night. Read our match report in full here. Find out player ratings below.

Aaron Ramsdale – 9
Aaron was excellent. Great with his feet and made one very good fingertip save. Not a lot else to do.

Ben White – 8
Playing at right back, White was solid defensively and even made some good runs going forward. Has to start in this position when Tomiyasu is not fit.

William Saliba – 9

This guy can go to the very top. He is exceptional on the ball, strong in the duel and deceptively quick.

Gabriel Magalhaes – 9
Gabriel was brilliant alongside Saliba and then gave Chelsea almost nothing all night. Exciting partnership.

Alex Zinchenko – 8
Neat debut from Alex. Could’ve done a bit more defensively on occasions but was great on the ball and linking the defence and midfield.

Thomas Partey – 9
Thomas is integral for Arsenal. He’s the pace setter and the guy who cleans up everything in midfield.

Bukayo Saka – 8
Saka had a quiet first half but was very strong on the ball in the second and got his goal.

Martin Odegaard – 9

Odegaard looks fit and ready to go. Ran the game for Arsenal and scored a lovely goal.

Granit Xhaka – 8
Xhaka had some slack moments but equally played a part in two goals. Clear that a 433 may work better with a more natural fit in his role, but he has qualities to give.

Gabriel Martinelli – 8
Gabi looks ready to explode, he just needs to perfect his end product.

Gabriel Jesus – 9
Just wow. The guy is elite and I cannot believe Manchester City have let us have him. Pace, strong in duels, finishing and great link up.
