Picture Special: Wilshere & Giroud Join Youngsters In Training Ahead Of Carabao Cup Tie

With the League Cup being the only domestic trophy missing from Arsene Wenger’s cabinet, it appears the manager is confident he can still win it by using the kids!

Unlike their Premier League form, Arsenal’s approach to this competition has always had a consistency about it and we can expect a number of youngsters to feature in Tuesday night’s starting XI.

The Gunners host Championship side Norwich City who are unbeaten in all competitions since August 26th, a record that has left Daniel Farke’s side in the play-off places.

Despite the gap between the two clubs, this will be a huge test for some of Arsenal’s younger members of the squad, who narrowly defeated Doncaster Rovers in the previous stage of the competition.

However, Wenger has had an opportunity for his inexperienced players to link up with fringe members of the squad during a successful campaign in the Europa League.

There’s no doubt that we’ll see a few more unfamiliar names on the team-sheet on Tuesday night, with the recent batch of training pictures giving us an indication on who might feature:
