5) Arsene Wenger
Despite the headline displaying ‘players’, I think it’s only fair to include the boss within this debate. As much as we can slate the players who are not performing well, something clearly isn’t right with Arsène and his tactics this season. His decision not to buy a powerful, holding midfielder and defensive cover this summer was a risk in its own, and now after suffering an outbreak of injuries he looks lost for ideas with his very thin squad. It’s not his fault the players get injured… is it? He’s failed to deliver, and with us already being 9 points behind leaders Chelsea and out of the League Cup it looks very unlikely we will improve upon last seasons accomplishments. His newly introduced formation isn’t benefiting many of our players, and his stubbornness and refusal to make substitutions before the 70th minute are baffling. Now, after our lucky escape in Brussels, our season could kick start, and hopefully Wenger will step up, take responsibility and deliver some changes that seriously need to be made.
