3) Aaron Ramsey
It’s not that he’s been bad, but to replicate his form of last season? Well that’s always going to be an audacious challenge. The Welshman begun the season with a fantastic turn and finish against Manchester City in the Community Shield, sending shivers down the back of the Arsenal fans as they won their second piece of silverware in 4 months. His late goals in the early games against Everton and Crystal Palace seemed to be papering over the cracks of his not-so-spectacular performances. Since then he hasn’t bagged a goal, and seems to be making all of the wrong decisions. In my opinion, there’s one solution to this problem, and that’s to return to our proven 4-2-3-1 where he partners Mikel Arteta in defending and making those late-box runs that any defender will find impossible to mark. Now advanced into the role alongside Wilshere, he hasn’t had any luck running from deep and is a mere shadow of last seasons, world-beating Aaron Ramsey. With Wenger running out of patience, the introduction to the 4-2-3-1 may reignite the midfielder’s form, and goal-scoring record too.
