Things haven’t been easy for Casillas over at Real Madrid recently, with the Spaniard being booed whether he’s on the pitch or the bench.
Media reports have linked us with the 34-year-old for years now, and now could be his chance to get out quickly with the arrival of David de Gea, which is looking increasingly likely.
Casillas doesn’t need any introduction to English fans, after being the man between the posts whilst winning pretty much everything you can in football. However, as time moves on the Spanish star has dropped in confidence and of course value, which means Wenger could get himself a bargain.
At 34 years old he’s still got a lot to offer, and his wealth of experience can help some of the younger players at the club, he could be more than just a goalkeeper.
