3. Kieran Trippier
The Burnley defender has been consistently linked to Arsenal for a while and whether a move happens or not, he will be playing Premier League football next season. After years of impressive in the Championship, Trippier looks certain to grab the step-up to the next level with both hands and could be an important player for the clarets next season.
As riskier option than those mentioned above, the question would be whether Trippier would be able to put in the same level of performances that we usually see from the Englishman- though with Arsenal scouting the player for some time you can be confident they will know that he is able to make the jump.
With the other players linked to the club, Trippier is likely to be a late alternative if things don’t pan out. However, Trippier is by no-means a panic buy, as he’s destined for a career at the top level and will be an important player wherever he ends up. As a first-option, Trippier raises some question marks to the type of player we’re attracting but as a back-up, or an alternative, Trippier offers exactly what the Gunners are looking for.
