With the Mesut Ozil and Laurent Koscielny injured and Calum Chambers suspended, Arsene Wenger will be forced into several changes on Saturday.
It’s never easy to come back after an international break, but after losing two key players to injury – it’s even harder to bare. Arsenal’s injury curse will never end.
Here’s the starting XI I would start with: Szczesny; Bellerin, Mertesacker, Monreal, Gibbs; Flamini; Alexis, Wilshere, Cazorla, Oxlade; WelbeckÂ
With Chambers and Debuchy out, Bellerin picks himself at right back. It will his first Premier League start, but I believe he has the ability to do well, especially at home against Hull – I think he will have a good attacking influence. Monreal at centre back is a recipe for disaster, but he’s the best option we have because of the crisis.
Flamini looked improved against Chelsea and has had the international break to rest up. Hopefully he can impress again with Arteta returning soon. Wilshere and Cazorla have both played well recently and hopefully they can create enough to take apart Hull. Alexis and Oxlade on the wings have been devastating so far this season – if this midfield delivers we should have no troubles.
Welbeck leads the line of course, and hopefully he can get his first Premier League goal at the Emirates for the Gunners. I have faith he will do just that.
Despite the injuries, can Arsenal take the three points against Hull on Saturday? I think so, my prediction is a 3-1 Arsenal win – what’s yours?
