After impressing in a short-term loan spell at Swansea back in 2009, Dyer managed to catch the eye of former manager Roberto Martinez, and since then has worked his way up to be a regular in the Swansea City starting line-up.

The English winger is known for his pace and agility, which will be a danger to both Mertesacker and make-shift centre back, Nacho Monreal. After ten games, he currently is tied with top goalscorer, Wilfried Bony, netting four goals already.

He is hoping to repay the Swansea fans for sticking by him through his tough spell during the 2010/11 campaign, where Swansea struggled to gain any momentum in what was a very young team.

After missing out on a place in the England side, Dyer will want to show the national team’s manager, Roy Hodgson exactly what he’s missing. With a weeks rest on the cards after this game as well, he will want to hit full work rate from start to finish.

At 26, he is currently in his peak years as a footballer, and that maturity will be matched with his creativeness, meaning he is never afraid to try something new.

Arsenal will want to cope with the speed Dyer brings by putting Bellerin in at right-back which can move Chambers over to centre back. Ballerin is good enough and fast enough to deal with Dyer, who always likes to cut inside and is never afraid to shoot.

Other Players To Watch: Ashley Williams, Lukasz Fabianski, Marvin Emnes
