3. It’s great to have Laurent Koscielny back
How good was it to see Koscielny return from his latest injury? I thought he improved Per Mertesacker’s game no end. With ten (100% rate) clearances, one blocked shot and 5/8 aerial duels won Koscielny certainly made an impact on his return; though he only managed a 52.2% pass rate. He even managed two shots on goal albeit neither was on target. There have been many partnerships in football throughout the years but in my humble opinion the defending partnership between the BFG and Koscielny is second to none. Fingers crossed Koscielny’s calf injury and Achilles tendon problems don’t come back to haunt him and therefore Arsenal. With Koscielny back in the team Arsenal is (almost) invincible!
