4 – Radamel Falcao – Centre Forward
The other big money signing on this list comes in the form of Monaco’s £40 million man – Radamel Faclao – who would offer a great alternative to Giroud depending on the opposition we’re facing.
Whereas Giroud is more of a creator, who can hold onto the ball under pressure and lay it off to team-mates, Falcao is the complete opposite.
Direct, aggressive, and a lethal finisher – the 28-year-old would almost certainly produce a strong goal haul in his first season at the club and would give us a consistent goal scorer in the big games against our title-chasing rivals.
Although his recent knee injury and obscenely high wages might make this deal a non-starter, our new shirt sponsors Puma might be able to help us in our pursuit of this Columbian hotshot by supplementing his wages or paying part of his transfer fee.
