Theo Walcott
The England winger has been short of game-time for Arsenal lately, as he looks to hold down a regular starting berth after a year on the sidelines with a knee injury. His most recent showing was as a second half substitute during the Champions League 2nd leg tie against Monaco last week.
Arsenal fans already know what Walcott offers on the pitch. His lightning pace on the flanks combined with his intelligent off the shoulder play, has seen him get in behind defenders to create goalscoring opportunities on many occasions.
However, since his absence competition for places up front for Arsenal has been intense this season as, he finds himself up against his England compatriot Danny Welbeck, as well as Alexis Sanchez.
So the 26-year old will feel he has a point to prove, and therefore be itching to impress for Roy Hodgson’s England against Lithuania and Italy, to stake a claim for club and country in the months ahead to come.
